Meet Scott and Maureen

  Scott and Maureen's careers have been in the field of domestic and international government affairs.  

They raised their two sons in the Washington, DC area, and when not in Donegal, call Naples, Florida, home.  

Maureen (Mo) is the eldest granddaughter of Bridget Byrne, who was born and raised on the ocean in Kiltyfanned, alongside Port, near the neighboring village of Glencolumbkille. 

With tremendous family support in the village and nearby villages, Mo considers their journey a form of "reverse immigration" honoring her grandmother Bridget’s selfless dedication to family - Scott is just lucky to ride along. 

The Cottage at Glenmaíre is their passion, and an opportunity to share the breathtaking scenery and culture of coastal Donegal with those wanting a classically unique way to experience and play golf in unforgettably stunning northwest Ireland.
